Creative Home Concepts Features
Farmington in the Dream Home Tour

March 2008—Sponsored by the Home Building Association of Richmond, the 2008 Dream Home Tour showcased 60 new homes for sale in the greater Richmond area on March 8, 9, 15 and 16. Creative Home Concepts’ entry was Farmington, an Arts and Crafts home in Hallsley, a neighborhood of historically inspired homes.

Like many of the custom homes Creative Home Concepts builds, Farmington is certified by the Energy Star® and EarthCraft House™ Programs. Features such as three-zone heating and cooling, fresh-air intake, mold and moisture-resistant insulation and on-demand hot water systems make Farmington energy-efficient and environmentally conscious. “The way we build saves our clients money on utility bills and results in a quieter, healthier home,” says Bryan Smith, owner of Creative Home Concepts. The custom homebuilder is one of a limited number of homebuilders certified by EarthCraft Virginia™, a green building certification process launched statewide in 2006.

Creative Home Concepts has several lots available in Hallsley, a new neighborhood in Roseland, a Chesterfield County community inspired by the New Urbanism philosophy.
